Heifer Ranch is a 1,200-acre facility nestled in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains in Perryville, AR. We believe that small-scale, regenerative farming can serve as a transformational tool to rebuild and redefine rural communities and economies. Our 3 acres of certified organic market gardens serve as both a training site for aspiring farmers and a way to support the local food movement in the region. We grow everything from vegetables, greens, herbs, flowers and more. Heifer Ranch creates and delivers free, high-quality and interactive farmer training events, to help small-holder farmers increase their production and profitability. The Heifer Ranch Market Garden is certified organic, but we go beyond just organic practices. As a Savory Hub for the Savory Institute, we are working to incorporate regenerative agricultural practices that actively build up the soil while producing wholesome, delicious produce.
